The client wanted a clean corporate site to reflect the type of business they engage in. Our first draft was a million miles from what the client wanted but that’s OK. We kept working on until we got it 100%. The site is fully managed with WordPress as the CMS with plenty of work on the SEO side of things.

We are delighted to announce that we will be opening in Co. Limerick very shortly.

For those interested in such things it’s pretty much accepted that Apple have little interest in getting Flash to work on the iphone. Whatever the reason, commercial or technical (I’m guessing commercial) Apple has made it clear that they do not plan on supporting it, instead focusing on HTML5.

“Someone has it backwards — it is HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and H.264 (all supported by the iPhone and iPad) that are open and standard, while Adobe’s Flash is closed and proprietary,” an Apple representative said in a statement provided to CNET.

All is not lost.

Fortunately Smokescreen.us, an opensource initiative to create a flash player using javascript has arrived. It’s early days but very promising.

This was a simple project to convert an existing website into WordPress  for CMS and give it a lick of paint. The result I think was well worth the effort as the old site realy did not impress. The new version is more professional and can now be easily updated by the company themselves.
