Bebo, Face Book, MySpace and hundreds more like them have changed the way many people communicate in much the same way as mobile phones and email did. Even more important is the demographic of social network users. If your target audience is under 40 years of age then social networking is a potential communications channel to use. If your target audience is under 20 years of age it may be the only communications channel worth talking about.
